New and exclusive to Toronto and Canada, Balzac’s Coffee is proud to introduce Coffee in a Cone! Hailed as “the most Instagrammed coffee in the world” with over one million images of #coffeeinacone shared to date, this eco-friendly treat is exactly as the name says—coffee (or hot chocolate!) in a chocolate-coated waffle cone. Choose to enjoy a double espresso, macchiato, hot chocolate or our Nitro Cold Brew. A delicious mix of coffee, chocolate and wafer! Coffee in a Cone will be available at all Balzac’s café locations beginning Monday May 1st.
The innovator behind Coffee in a Cone, Dayne Levinrad, will be travelling from South Africa on Thursday May 11th to help us celebrate the official launch here in Toronto. Developed to bring innovation and excitement to the coffee industry, Dayne worked for months perfecting the cone and its layers of chocolate lining the inside of the cone. The special chocolate compound is made from various types of cacao in order to make it leak-proof, however, customers only have about 10 minutes to drink from the cone before all the chocolate melts.
